As you probably know I had my first baby shower this past weekend. It was wonderful! David’s mom and cousin Darlene threw it for me and it was so sweet. What a great way to celebrate our baby girl. Having a shower definitely made the fact that we are having a baby a lot more real. I feel like it hasn’t hit me still… it probably won’t until I am holding her in my arms.

Here are a few pictures from our vacation thus far. It has been wonderful! The weather is warm, the sand is white and the waves are clear. It has been so great to relax, read and spend time with my family this week without any stress or responsibilities. My best friend Meagan and her husband Nate recently moved to Florida right down the road from where we are staying so they came to the beach with their son Alister yesterday. What a nice coincidence! I can’t wait for another day of swimming, walking, reading and napping. More pics to come as well as my 22 week update!

Here are a few things that I have been up to over the last month or so when I wasn’t posting very much. David and I celebrated our anniversary on May 25th by going out to dinner in NKY, and we also went to Belterra Resort on a gift certificate that my parents got us. On a beautiful weekend in June after I had started my Zofran we went camping at Red River Gorge with our Life Group and it was awesome. Anyways… we did a lot but apparently I need to get better about documenting these things :)
